BRIEF:
During a provocation workshop about gender with Ruth Marshall-Johnsson, we were asked to take a creative self-portrait that best represents how we felt about gender in today’s media.
OUTCOME:
A collection of 3 ‘collage like’ images, combining simple black and white photos I took of myself and a variety of cutouts from current fashion magazines, thus creating a portrayal of how the female gender is being depicted in media and how this is reflected back on myself.
