brief: 
after writing a brand report on a chosen luxury brand (I chose Gucci), recommend & create a marketing strategy that will further promote/enrich the brand's marketing strategy & customer base.

outcome: 
Due to Covid-19, lockdowns and WFH, there has been an increased sales opportunity for homeware, prominently candles. However, Gucci already sells these. so I created a collection of matchboxes & lighters, to light the much needed candles. They are dressed in Gucci patterns and colours, resembling current products in Gucci collections.  they act as an attainable and affordable alternative to owning a unique Gucci product, that has both functional and emotional benefits for the customer.
These products would be collectable items, and then would be able to “live” in someone’s home,  re-purposed, even when its main functionality is done. customers would buy again as its contents are finite and it is a practical and useful product, with added value due to the branding and logo. 
these items could encourage customer loyalty and act as a gateway item for other Gucci products for people to look at; Thus making the matchboxes and the lighters promotional tools themselves.
